The MI Fair Tax Proposal -House Joint Resolution L - was introduced into the Michigan Legislature on May 3, 2007 with 37 cosponsors.  With a total of 110 Representatives in the house, 37 Cosponsors represent one third (33%) of the membership.  This was a very strong start.

We are in a new legislative session now, 2009-10 and the Proposal has not been reintroduce yet as we continue to gather more public awareness and support.  More details will follow soon on this aspect.
